Please Help a Flutist With His Studies

My name is Rajib Roy and I have been playing the Flute from a young age. Now I am studying of Govt Titumir College, Department Of English Final year going on and on the other hand In 2014 I started studying at Chayanout College & University as a specialist musician on a full scholarship. The combination of top level music tuition and a dedicated musical environment over the past 4 years has enabled me to advance and stimulate my musical development.

I have participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned flutist such as MK Murad, Jalal Ahmed, Probir Sarker and Abdul Gaji . I became concertmaster in the Bangladesh Academy of Fine-Arts (BAFA), as well as taking part in Classical, I have attend many classical Festival concert. These experiences have intensified my passion for music, and strengthened my resolve of pursuing a career as a Flutist.

Therefore I auditioned for Five top music conservatoires, both in India and London city and have had offers from all of them. My dream is to go to Mannes in India and study with Hariprasad Chaurisia (Indian music director and classical flutist, who plays the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute) , who I believe would help propel my playing to the next level.

I have managed to raise, along with a generous scholarship, a significant amount of funding for my studies. However I still have a shortfall of around $1320. My parents are not able to support me and therefore I am requesting your donations towards making this dream a reality.
