Please don’t let them take our home

We are a family of 4 - hubby, myself and our two children. We have lived in our flat for over 20years. My husband had to leave work due to ill health and I left my job to look after him. We had no income, had to rely on family for food and as we had never ever been out of work we didn't know or understand the benefits system.

Now our flat, our family home, is going to be repossessed unless we can come up with £20,000 to pay off our mortgage. We have tried everything to stay here, but our final home was dashed by our factor declining to buy our flat back from us. We are now looking at having to uproot our disabled daughter and our son and move away from the area that they call home.

We don't want to do this and it would restore our faith in humanity if we could even raise some money to pay off our mortgage. We are not entitiled to much in the way of benefits or we would be using them. We are proud and hate asking for anything. This is our only hope now. Please please see it in your heart to help us out.
