‘Fluffy’ is an active and docile 16 months old cat which has fallen off from a 4 storey high building on 4 December 18.

‘Fluffy’ is in need of critical medical care and orthopedic surgery to treat the medical condition known as ‘Chylothorax‘ (resulted due to accumulation of lympathic fluid in the chest causing breathing difficulties) and the broken two front legs.

‘Fluffy’ is currently being hospitalised for monitoring and is likely to be scheduled for the orthopaedic surgery in a couple more days.

The estimated medical bill quoted, including laboratory and diagnostic imaging checks, hospitalisation, treatment and surgery ranges from SGD $6000 - $8000. This is not inclusive of postoperative care, follow up and medication.

Update as of 9 Dec 18:

Fluffy’s surgery is done and she has started eating. She is scheduled for discharged on 10 Dec and the actual total fees are SGD$11,282.23. As promised by the Dr, he capped the total fees to 8k. This exclude cost for follow up reviews and post operative care, e.g bandage change, etc.

This is a very ‘big’ amount for me and I don have enough to cover the cost all by my own. I appeal to all kind hearted souls and cat lovers to make a contribution to Fluffy’s medical fees. No amount is too small. Please help.

Update as of 24 Dec 18:

Fluffy’s two week post op. She’s recovering well and is getting used to walking with the two metal fixators on the front two legs. At times, she would stand up on her hind legs especially when eating. Guess it’s still painful for her at time to put too much pressure on her front two legs. She has went for her first review post op and the surgeon is happy with her recovery. There’s gonna be a few more follow up with the surgeon for her post op care and removal of the sutures, metal fixators, bandage change, etc.

I am still paying the surgery fees by monthly installments (divided across 6 payments). In order to provide Fluffy proper post operative care, I appeal to everyone to empathise and help contribute and donate. Any amount matters.
