The kid who never ate from mouth - Vadim

In October, making my son asleep , I flipped the ribbon fb. My eyes stopped his eyes in front of me. Vadim looked at me like he wanna say: "Do not leave me ." The charity company "Dobrodi" has been leading a baby for a month. Vadim was born with a severe pathology - in simple words - with guts outward, spikes in them, a hole in the tummy ..

Vadim does not know the taste of mother's milk and the warmth of her breast. He never ate from his mouth ..

But there was one more feature, how many it would not be sewn up, and sewed it already eight times, each time there are fistulas-holes in an intestine ...

Such babies do not live up to a month and a half. Vadim lives almost eleven! He bravely clings to life every time when doctors drop their hands ..

Since the meeting of our eyes, I am fighting with him. In January the charity company gave the kid under my wing .. and from that moment I beg you to help!

When you never encounter such a thing, it's hard to imagine what path to overcome, but Vadim and I are very lucky bcs we always meet good people ..

At the moment we finally found a procedure for the possibility of exporting a child when he is not in the status of adoption. In Ukraine, this is the first case of treating such a child abroad and the bodies themselves do not know the mechanisms .. and then without lawyers, contacts, connections and "press", believe me, it would be very difficult. We have a full package of documents for Vadim and a passport with a Schengen visa on hand!

A huge work was done on correspondence with German clinics. A deep bow to all our Germans! Without them, I would be crying. Have decided with the clinic. The main professor of the clinic, having learned the history of Vadim - refused his fee! Received a primary account for treatment (primary because until they diagnose the baby - they can not say for sure)

A medical board with all necessary equipment was found (in Ukraine there are none), agreed with the medical team that will fly aboard the plane to the Dnieper to transport Vadim to Munich. The doctor lowers the amount in favor of us. The Dnipro airport promises not to take payment.

For this many thanks to one more wonderful team that took over this part of the work!

Thanks to my friends on the channel 1 + 1 about Vadim was filmed a video that gave the opportunity to believe in the collection of this space amount of money. And I also felt incredible support from absolutely foreign people, and I learned how many of us not indifferent. There were money transfers even for 30 kopecks, but it is so important that people did not pass by the pain.

In this whole process, at first stable and actively gaining weight Vadim, sharply worsens.

A willful decision of doctors makes him the seventh operation in the Dnieper. We invite a Turkish professor for a consultation - $ 5,500. On this day, I announce a fast and go to prayer .... only in the evening when the operation began the husband tells me what the doctors were afraid to say. Necrosis .. then there would be no chance. But all organs are alive! The operation is pretty good. We all are afraid to say it out loud .. we and doctors are superstitious .. The next day, again, there is a fistula - a hole in the intestine .. It's sewn again ... Now Vadim is always under painkillers. He lies under the apparatus VAK, and it's very painful .. his favorite nurse Masha says that he almost does not cry, only softly as a kitten groans ...

Tomorrow I will be with Vadim. I will bring him everything that I brought from the Temple of the Holy Sepulcher .. And today I pray to God that he helped me to survive and solve all financial problems quickly.

Please pray, pray with me .. for Vadim, for his healing, for a long and happy life! And that we now have everything quickly and harmoniously!

Our situation changed and we are so upset. As Vadim become worse our Germany doctors changed the bill of their hospital , if before it was 27 000 € today it is 80 000€. They said the problems is that child needs intensive terapy. It was very bad surprise for all of us. But never give up!!!

Our little fighter continues to fight for life until we are soliciting for treatment.

Today received test results from Germany and, as doctors say, they are quite good.

Vadim is getting weigh shall we see even the picture and now we have 6780 kg.

But this time we are continuing to raise funds, because Amount is not final and it will clear after an full medical examination Vadim in Germany.

Vadym Ostapchuk is a 9 month old little boy abandoned by his parents and extended family members after birth as he was born with a severe pathology. Doctors say he is a fighting as a lion for his life and has all chances to leave a healthy life.
But he can count only on those people, who care.
He smiles to doctors despite his pain. Vadym was born with missing anterior abdominal wall resulting in exterior placement of intestines. He went through 6 complicated surgeries to develop the anterior abdominal wall and doctors call him a true warrior. Currently the child cannot be naturally fed, thus he receives special nutrition via a tube. The nutrition he receives costs about 20 000 UAH (approx. $740) per month. Natalya, the young lady, who raises funding for Vadym, shares her story how she learned about him: “I was flipping through Facebook the other night while putting my own son to bed and saw the news about the boy. I gave birth to my son on May 6 and Vadym was born on May 9, I just couldn’t ignore. If his intestine is restored, Vadym will have a chance for recovery. While Ukrainian doctors did all they could, now doctors in Germany are ready to help, but the cost for treatment is 375 000 UAH (approx. $14.000).
Natalya says: “I was rocking him in my arms yesterday and he slept, he is very attentive and reacts to everything.”
Volunteers ask people not be ignorant and give the child a hope for life as upon going through complete course of medical treatment he has a chance to become a healthy child.
