Plea for a life

Hello friends and family, my name is Nancy Lagos. I was born in Mexico to a loving mother and an American father who suddenly died not long after I was born. I have had a hard working challenging life but that is what I was taught. When I was in my later twenties my mother also died. I never ask my sister when I need help but sometimes she just knows and offers when she can. That is why is difficult for me to share this plea with you out there and request help from the bottom of my heart as my husband, Juan, of 17 years, has been ill with Cholangiocarcinoma bile duct cancer for approximately a year and a half. We do have our Mexican insurance but unfortunately it doesn’t cover a lot of the medical costs. My 15 year old son and I have been self sustaining during Juan’s illness and I am grateful for the help from a few gracious friends and family. They are encouraging me to do this plea for help. I humbly request funds for my husband as he needs a new procedure for his survival. A new component for the liver for a surgery has to be purchased from the United States as well as other medical necessities that are not covered by insurance. I ask if anyone that is loving and caring, to find it in their heart to please help us during these trying times. Each and every day counts for Juan, our son and I, so if you could bless us with some help by your means of generosity it would mean everything to us. Thank you and God bless you. Hola amigos y familiares, mi nombre es Nancy Lagos. Nací en México con una madre amorosa y un padre estadounidense que murió repentinamente poco después de que naciera. He tenido una vida desafiante y trabajadora, pero eso es lo que me enseñaron. Cuando tenía 27 años, mi madre también murió. Nunca le pido nada a mi hermana cuando necesito ayuda, pero a veces simplemente sabe y ofrece cuando puede. Es por eso que es difícil para mí compartir esta súplica con ustedes y pedir ayuda desde el fondo de mi corazón ya que mi esposo, Juan Padilla, casados desde hace 17 años, ha estado enfermo de colangiocarcinoma, cáncer de vías biliares, por aproximadamente un año y medio. Tenemos nuestro seguro mexicano, pero lamentablemente no cubre gran parte de los costos médicos. Mi hijo de 15 años y yo hemos sido autosuficientes durante la enfermedad de Juan y estoy agradecida por la ayuda de algunos amigos y familiares. Ellos me están animando a hacer este pedido de ayuda. Humildemente solicito fondos para mi esposo, ya que necesita un nuevo procedimiento para su supervivencia. Un nuevo componente para el hígado para una cirugía tiene que comprarse en los Estados Unidos, así como otras necesidades médicas que no están cubiertas por el seguro. Pregunto si alguien que realmente quiera apoyar desde el fondo de corazón pueda ayudarnos en estos tiempos difíciles. Todos y cada uno de los días cuentan para Juan, nuestro hijo y yo, así que si pudieras bendecirnos con alguna ayuda por tu generosidad, significaría todo para nosotros. Gracias y que Dios te bendiga.
