Plant a tree and leave a mark on this world

I believe that each individual on this planet was born to leave a mark on this world. Some of you are born to be doctors, teachers, musicians, construction workers, farmers.

You're here to leave a mark.

With this fundraiser you will have a chance to leave a permanent mark so that next generations know you once existed and helped another person to fulfill his dream.

Plant a tree, leave a mark is a fundraiser that will help a young farmer to have an additional source of income along with providing you a gift of appreciation in return.

So what it's all about?

My goal is to plant a small olive tree plantation, 2,5ha to be precise.

So far with our limited funds we've been able to clear the land that we intend to plant, put up almost 2 kilometers of pipeline for irrigation and build access roads.

But that's about it what we could do ourselves, Covid-19 situation hit us hard and further investments are impossible to perform.

What's left to do?

We now need to hire a construction company that will remove large rocks from the land or crush them in smaller pieces.

After that we need to hire another company that will cultivate the soil with rock tillers to create a fertile base for plants to grow.

And finally there's the cost of olive plants that will be planted in Ultra High Density format. Meaning that on 2,5ha plot of land we will be able to plant almost 3000 olive trees.

That's where you come into play.

With the smallest amount you wish the donate you'll be leaving a mark on this world as well getting a gift of appreciation in return.

If you donate at least 5€ a tree will wear a name tag after you.

If you donate 10€ you'll get to name 4 trees as you wish.

If you donate at least 25€ you will also get a 1l of extra virgin olive oil harvested from a plantation you helped to plant along with tree named after you and your family members.

Varieties that are going to be planted are Oliana, Lecciana and OAC01 hybrid, all of them a low vigor, high productivity varieties that come to harvest as early as 2 years from planting.

To make sure everything is transparent I'll will personally provide all the receipts on what the money has been spent, along with a blog post to your email of each step we perform to inform you of progress being made, and a youtube series covering the whole process of cultivating, planting and general care and health of the trees you've helped plant , along with a photo of your own tree with your name tag attached on it.
