Planning to build a home-based CNC shop with my dad. Please help us getting out of the rat race.

I will be honest, I love my profession (I am a CNC miller making unique parts full time) but I am also very tired of working for people that only use me to make money and killing my creativity along the way. I have thought about it with my father (who is a very talented craftsman) and I only see one solution: a small garage with a machine and tools. This would give me the one thing I crave the most: freedom. Don't get me wrong, I am all for hard work, making things is my thing, but I can imagine myself only in a format that I am free from all restrictions. So in a last resort option, I would gladly take a leap of faith and ask for help from anyone in the whole wide world, hoping that this message gets across and maybe I could realise my long time wish: a little work sanctuary with all the necessities (3-axis mill, tools, and a miriad of other little things) possibly with my 3 mates who are working in different shops and are astonishingly professional and talented. Who knows what could grow out of this.

I appreciate every little help that could get me closer to this dream of mine.
