Plain ticket to my love

Hi, my name is Aimee. I am 27 years old and I live in South Africa. I am an extremely creative individual with an anti-establishment mindset; and I would love to change the world if I could.

I wouldn't normally do this, asking for help, but I have come to see that my life has always somehow thrown several challenges at me, which I have managed to conquer time and time again. I have also managed to get up from the bottom and to pull myself together, no matter what. But as I sit here today, I feel somewhat like I could do with a little help, from my worldly friends...you.

I have not only walked a rather strange path (which has been extremely lonely at times), but I have tried almost everything to get myself up from where I am, and to get to where I need to be. So it has also been an extremely enlightening path at the same time.

Freedom is just another word for having nothing left to lose! And if it weren't for my most amazing boyfriend, I would certainly not have grown into the woman I am today. We have both been through some exceptionally tough times, and for lack of a better term...we have pretty much, lost everything...except for our sanity...I think.

So three months ago, my boyfriend accepted a job in San Antonio, and spent almost every last dollar to get there, as well as on living costs... And after the initial 'honeymoon' phase was over, he realized it was not quite what he thought it was...but he signed a binding contract.

So, now he is there, and without any support structure. Both his parents passed away when he was 19, and ever since then, he has been fighting to survive in this crazy world. As we have both learnt to become fully dependent on ourselves, it is during tough times like these that we really do need each other, and the world to help us out.

I have gradually saved up every last bit that I have to get to him, while simultaneously aiming to make ends meet on my side- so it has been rather tough to say the least. I would truly appreciate your help - as any small donation would be much appreciated!

Your donations will truly inspire me to write my life's book, and in fact it will help to formulate the conclusion I have always wanted to add: how we can use the internet to connect with people from all corners of the world! It will also give us both the chance to put our minds together, so we can lift off and follow our dreams of traveling, creating innovation technology and learning more about this amazing ( and crazy) world in which we live.

Love is what motivates us to go the extra mile further! Without it, we are lost without direction!
