I am sincerely knocking on your kind and generous hearts, to help fund my youngest brother’s open-heart surgery, as soon as possible. That is the advice of his Cardio on his latest check-up last August 2020. According to the doctor, two valves in his heart has a hole causing him to experience difficulty in breathing, which is further caused by his bloated stomach. With such condition, he has been brought to the hospital more frequently, these days, to release the fluid in his stomach, and temporarily relieve him from extreme pain and shortness of breath.

Being his elder sister, I cannot bear to see him suffer from such terrible pain. It is a trauma for us, his family, especially that our beloved Papa Rodel has just been brought to eternal peace last July 6, 2020, thru a sudden and tragic death – he was shot, dead. We are still coping and in pursuit for justice. Despite this most challenging times, I have to stand strong for my family; we have to face it together, no matter what happens.

Again, I am appealing to each one of you, to spare and extend any amount of financial assistance for this FUND-RAISING DRIVE for our loving little brother - REX. We are in need of a BIG AMOUNT – 1 to 1.3 Million pesos, so we can have his heart surgery scheduled as soon as possible. Without such amount, he cannot be scheduled for the operation. We don’t want that to happen! That’s why we are initiating this FUND-RAISING DRIVE to help him LIVE HIS LIFE AGAIN. He is too young to die. He still has big dreams to pursue and accomplish for his constituents in his barangay, being an SK Councilor; and he still has a promise to fulfill for his family, especially for our beloved Mama – Maria, whom we love so dearly.

No matter how hard life is today, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic, we are still holding on so strong to HOPE! I know that with your help, you are not just giving REX a second chance to breathe longer in this beautiful world; you are also giving him a chance to live his life fully to fulfill his mission as a good public servant, a kind and loving brother and son, and more importantly, as good servant of our LORD. I, and the rest of my family, are begging for your mercy, generous and compassionate heart. The LORD and YOU, are our only HOPE.
