Piso Para Kay Nanay

"Third time's a charm", so the saying goes when it's your third time and you're sure the results will bring you luck. And so we pray that Nanay's third hospital confinement for her lung ailment would yield good results, that we'll be able to finally know what is causing the build-up of fluids in her lungs, if the nodules previously found in her right lungs are benign or something we should worry about, and what else we can do to help Nanay win this battle. While she undergoes workup to look for the cause of her ailment, she currently is fighting an onset of pneumonia and sepsis. We thank God that she has tested negative for the dreaded Covid-19 disease.

However, her third confinement is also stretching our already stretched financial situation. Her previous hospital confinement in 2020, which included two surgeries, is something my siblings and I would be paying off until 2023. And we don't know how long this fight is for, but we know we would be fighting and doing our best for our beloved Nanay. So that we and my nephews and nieces will also get the joy and the love of spending Christmases, and birthdays, and all of life's milestones with her.

We couldn't say thank you enough for any help and prayers that you will send and continue to send to me and my family.
