Pingu’s Recovery

This is Pingu. We rescued him over a month ago when our apartment guards found him in the basement. He was flea-ridden, full of worms, and since we live in a small apartment with two other cats, we decided to keep him in the balcony until he got better. He was fine for a month living in our shaded balcony, but a few weeks ago he fell from our 4th floor. Sadly, our Vet told us that he broke his leg pretty badly, and it seems our best option is to have it amputated. We got the operation done thanks to some generous friends and strangers' help. He was fine after but his wound wasn't healing properly so we had to keep him confined at the vet for two weeks so they could monitor his healing. He's now completely healed, but our running bill is reaching to almost $600. We're hoping anyone who has a soft spot for adorably energetic kittens to spare some money to get him back from the Vet.
