Come and join us. Early in January 2021, our team, Intel Farming was selected to participate in an IoT innovation competition across 6 countries in Africa. Only 30 teams were accepted into this prestige programme, Wazi Hub.

We are wanting to be part of solving an important food security problem, and will do this by developing and providing an intelligent, precision soil management solution to farmers. We are developing all of this from the ground up. I am excited to see the final outcome that could potentially impact farmers positively.

If you can assist us in achieving our pilot project dreams, then please consider supporting by donating, sharing, and following.

Read on to discover why we are so passionate about precision farming.

Future food security is one of the biggest global concerns that is being and needs to be solved to sustain global food consumption in the coming generations. Increasing farming productivity per square hectare is a requirement farmers need to achieve.

How do they achieve this while still being kind to the environment?

It’s a daunting thought and seems impossible, but Intel Farming believes it is possible to fulfill agricultural, environmental and humanitarian needs.

The answer lies in “precision farming” - farming that is data-driven, cleaner and increases land productivity. Increasing productivity is a more sustainable approach to feeding the global population by 2050. (1) Precision farming takes the guesswork out of farming. (2)

Intel Farming has embarked on a pilot project to help any traditional farmer become a precision farmer with their current resources, and with the use of our SOIL INFO SENSOR that is currently in development. It is our goal to provide an essential precision farming solution to any farmer.

The foundations of our precision farming solution is the advanced wireless soil sensor that will record vital soil data. This soil data provides the fuel for our Artificial Intelligence software to make accurate predictions about the soil health and resource demands weeks in advance. Together with our web app, this info will be displayed in a clear concise way to the farmer allowing them to make precise, accurate, and responsible decisions about irrigation and fertilization per hectare on their farm, therefore allowing the farmer to produce more with less.

With the use of Intel Farming's solution, we could change the face of agriculture for the better.

Donating to this pilot project will bring our precision farming vision to life.
