Who We Are:

Leyla and Farhad, a couple of bicycle tourers from Italy and UK respectively...Presently on our way to Jeresulem, passing through the Levant.

What We Are Doing And Why?

Back in London we had stable jobs, which due to the pandemic we lost in March 2020.

We did not allow this occurrence to bring us down, instead we took this event as sign to embark in a new endeavor, so we left London on July 2020.

Wee have successfully arrive in the ancient city of Antioch, presently know as Antakya, about 30Km to the Syrian border, which unsuccessfully we tried to cross by land.

How It All Started...

When we started our trip, the situation in Europe looked so promising that the great majority of restrictions were lifted.

We cycled to the Italian Alps (passing by the Netherlands, Germany and Austria). Then we traveled through Easten Europe (passing by Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria) to the gates of Asia.

Our Current Situation:

Unfortunately, during this unprecedented times, it has been impossible for us to find any job anywhere to support ourselves and our savings run out.

We have now been fortunate to find an opportunity to build a meeting centre in a local comunity in the mountains of central Lebanon.

This project will take a few months to be completed.
