Pilgrim Ranch is an integrated allied farm located on a 608.5 hectare land in Alli Imenyi autonomous community, Isuochi, Umunneochi LGA of Abia State, the South East of Nigeria with a market size of more than 186 million. Pilgrim Ranch was started by Hon. John Abraham Godson, the first black member of the Polish Parliament in Polish history (www.johngodson.pl). The ranch activity areas include:
1. Livestock production
2. Crop production
3. Food processing
4. Agrotourism, recreation and Safari-style guest houses
5. Other allied industries
We are about completing the first of the five phases of the ranch. We already have 150 pigs with a pig pen of capacity for 800 large pigs About 30 of the pigs are pregnant. We also have 40 boar goats that are pregnant.
When completed Pilgrim Ranch will have the following:
- About 60,000 goats
- About 100,000 pigs
- A few hundred cattle and sheep
- About 1000,000 layers
- Safari style accommodation for about 200 people
- Conference facility
- Safari conservation for chosen wildlife
- Food processing facility for juice production, meat processing, water production etc
- Restaurants and farm shops across major cities of Nigeria
- And much more
The ranch will be one of the largest ranches in Africa and is estimated to give employment to about 1000 people. It will also serve as place to train and empower young people.

Hon. John Abraham Godson is the first black member of the Polish Parliament in Polish history (2010-2015).
Originally from Nigeria, he is a graduate of Agriculture (B.Sc. Hons) from Abia State University, Uturu. He also holds 4 Masters degrees in: Human Resource management (M.Sc.), International relations and diplomacy (MA), Professional Communication (M.S.) and Managerial Communication (MBA). He also did 2 doctorate studies in political science (University of Warsaw) and Management (University of Lodz).
John Abraham Godson is also a social entrepreneur and has founded several businesses and foundations including Afropoland projects Ltd, The African Institute and John Godson Foundation amongst others. His foundations fund scholarships to intelligent students from indigent homes in Poland and Africa. About 120 students have received such annual scholarships. He is also the convener of the Poland-Africa Economic POLAFRO that takes place in Warsaw and Abuja. He was named by the New African Magazine to be amongst the 100 most influential Africans of 2015. He has been honoured with the gold medal award by the Crans Montana Forum and also the Future Leaders Award. On the 14th of November 2016, The Polish government decorated him with the Polish National Merit Award- BENE MERITO for his role in promoting Polish-Africa relations
He and his wife, Aneta, are blessed with 4 children (2 girls and 2 boys) and a son-in-law. In November 2016, John Godson relocated to Nigeria supervise the construction of Pilgrim Ranch.
