Phone Needed . Was Scammed To Buy One

I was looking for a new or pre loved cell phone , since mine has reached its end date. My current phone is at least 6 yrs old. It would have it's moments of freezing or powering off at just 98% , hard to make phone calls because it only and works on speaker phone .As I'm carefully looking for the phone I've been saving for ,as it would both be a great purchase and a birthday present to myself , I thought I found the perfect deal online for a phone that came with all the accessories for such reasonable low price and messaged the seller right away. So I sent the payment through another cashless app other than the website provided. After the payment was a success the messages stopped. Thats when I realized I wasn't going to receive the advertised item and was a scammed. I tried to get my money back by reporting the incident to website , even reported to the local authorities to which they told me it'll be impossible because of the seller living in another state . Even just $5 could help me upgrade to a much needed updated phone. Thanks In Advance :)
