update: Phoenix went in for her pre-op this morning (1/7), and it's not looking great. More areas of concern were found in her lung and chest than previously thought. She is getting an additionally pricey CT scan tomorrow to see if surgery is even possible at this point. Thank you all for your continued support for this amazing pup! ------------------- It breaks my heart to write this....but today, everyone's favorite wall-eyed dog (Phoenix) was diagnosed with lung cancer. She needs surgery ASAP, as she is coughing up blood and making her momma cry. She goes in on Monday and will be in the doggy hospital until next Friday. Poor girl has to spend the entire week in the hospital. The procedure is going to cost a whopping $3500 and, until my anonymous donor leaves me his estate, the funds simply aren't there. :( Especially on such short notice. We need your help to get her healthy again. Any donation is GREATLY appreciated and goes a long way toward saving Da Phoen. :)
