Campaign Story
Several typhoons in the Philippines (end of 2020 and in 20121) killed dozens of people, destroyed thousands of homes, and left swathes of the island region flooded. Two million people were affected as the last typhoon caused heavy rainfall, flooding, landslides and made an unimaginable number of people homeless. About a million residents were evacuated. It also caused power outages due to damaged power and transmission lines.
One of them (Ulysses) has become the deadliest tropical cyclone to hit the country last year, so far.
People in the Philippines need our help!
