Philippines Missions Trip 2015

Hello to the beautiful people taking the time to read this! I am part of a mission's trip project to the Philippines that will happen in December of 2015. Yes, I do realize that the time is quickly coming up soon. I have felt the flutterings of conviction inside me (no, it's not indigestion) to be of use beyond the borders of what I've grown to know so well. Thankfully, Lighthouse Christian Church will be hosting its first mission's trip. The project will be held in two different locations: the first stop would be in Baliuag, Bulacan which is in the northern part of the Philippines (Luzon). We as a team will be working first at the Babyanne's Mansion Orphanage. I'm excited to work with the very many kids there more than I can explain. The second place we will be doing work would be in Nasugbu, Batangas, which is also located in the north of the Philippines; we're hoping to help encourage the planting of a new church in that area. I cannot provide any more words to try and explain why I feel that this is necessary for me to do - this mission's trip. I have felt passionate about social issues since I had the chance to develop an awareness beyond my area of comfort. I hope to work with my hands. I hope to work with people. I hope to love people and show them, through God's grace, that they are tremendously loved. I hope that you would join me in this endeavour and help provide a means for me to join Lighthouse Christian Church's mission's trip.
