Phil Clarke : Family Support

Dear friends and family,

Some of you may or may not know on September 12th I had a motorbike accident. I had to brake suddenly when a car pulled out into traffic but the ground was covered in silt and I lost control and hit the pavement. I didn't crash but my body went out into the road and a Greyhound bus ran over my right arm. Since then I’ve been in Somdej Hospital in Sri Tacha.

While I would very much like to avoid the embarrassment of asking publicly for money, I must accept that my family’s welfare is also at stake. As such, I must do whatever I can to avoid sending my family into more financial trouble.

Thankfully it seems that my hospital will be mostly or entirely covered by the medical insurance (still unsure) from my job. On the other hand, there is no unemployment insurance to cover my convalescence. I will be unable to work for the next 2 to 5 months. This is where I will need your help.

Of course I will do my utmost to rehabilitate myself and get back to work as soon as I can. Of course I will try to earn extra income whenever possible but for now the future holds no guarantees.

I'm asking all my friends and family to help us make it through the next few months. If you can help even a little bit my family and I will be deeply grateful.
