Researchers and PhD students raising public awareness

The mission of the campaign:

We are Creating the union of researchers and PhD students publishing articles on mainstream topics and engaging in other activities to raise public awareness.

Awareness-raising is a process that aims to educate people about a topic or issue with the intention of influencing their attitudes, behaviors and beliefs towards the achievement of a defined purpose which in this case, is to help the society become more tolerant to some delicate issues and stigmas.

Often times ignorance, hate, or even aggression is caused by the lack of knowledge. By choosing the cause, any member of society can contribute to citizens’ awareness and critical understanding of the roles and responsibilities in relation to the development issues.

The union's goal would involve but not be limited to the following activities:

Disseminating reports, studies and publications;

making written or oral presentations within universities

Working with the media

Holding public meetings and events;

Organizing conferences and workshops;

Creating and contributing to educational materials.

Holding or participating in events such as thematic discussions, round-tables, seminars, webinars,

Organizing online campaign support team: Managing online forums, petitions, groups and interactive websites, as well as social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, Instagram And LinkedIn.

Networking (online and offline) including creating and maintaining a network of contacts

The members of the union

The initial editorial board will choose the applicants based on their motivation letter.

Any PhD student, candidate, postgraduate or an independent researcher able to write articles in English is eligible to apply.

Benefits for the researchers:

1.Chosen articles will be published for free in peer-reviewed Journals.

2.Participation in conferences under 200 Euros will be covered from the fund.

And many more.

*Proofreading is mandatory for the articles submitted to the cause.
