Hi my dear friends!

Sometimes, it is very difficult to achieve a dream, especially if you walk alone.

My name is Juan Martinez, and today I come here to ask for your help to finish my PhD studies, and to continue my work as a trainer of young Latin American researchers of low resources, all for free.

All my scientific publications, my research and the free courses that I offer to train young researchers, have been paid with my own money, I have not had the financial help of anyone, or any public or private institution. everything has been paid for with my own work as a university professor.

Yes, I am an Independent Researcher, and I teach to others how to be one.

Unfortunately, in order to carry out these tasks, I depended on my own salary as a university professor in my country, Venezuela. But because of the terrible political situation in my country, I had to seek asylum in Chile, a country that has welcomed me with open arms.

Now, I am here, in a new country, and I must start all over again.

However, the biggest difficulty I have had to work in the academic area, is not having finished my PhD in computer science.

Here, it is very difficult to enter jobs competitions, for not having my doctorate degree.

I already have all my PhD courses approved, I have tutored of more than forty (40) engineering and postgraduate theses, and I have published enough scientific papers for the Azteca University of Mexico to recognize my degree, including, this university has helped me financially to finish my studies and receive my degree, but I still lack the financial resources to finish...Yes, I only need to pay!

That's why, today I'm asking for your help.

I started my studies in The University of Oriente (UDO, Venezuela), I finally received the B.Sc in Computer Engineering (Bircham International University, Spain), Post graduate studies like Technical Specialist in Telecommunications (Sofrecom and University Institute of Technology Cumana ( France and Venezuela), Master in Mobile Communications (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain) and Master in Business Management of Telecommunications (Ramon Llull and La Salle University, Spain).

I have an Academic proficiency certificate in Ph.D. Telematics engineering studies (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain, 2007). I was a speaker at 15 conferences and World congresses in Venezuela, Spain, Canada, USA, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Malaysia, China and Japan; Actually, I am a Guest editor and reviewer in 20+ scientist Journal, and Symposiums on Computers, Telecommunications and Informatics Systems, "ad honorem, for free".

In addition, I am very proud to be currently a jury winner of the World Congress of Computer Engineering, "Worldcomp", which is held every year in the United States. Jury member of the "Journal of Supercomputing" ( Springer, Holland) and also, to be a jury of the World Congress of Information Technology, which is also celebrated years, in South Korea. I do all these tasks "ad honorem, for free".

Some of my most important papers:

My Awards:

  1. Microsoft Azure for Data Science Research Award for Professional Researcher 2017
  2. PEII Certified 2015- 2016 (Professional Researcher certificate, Ministry of Technologies and Sciences, Venezuela).

My last academic job was as Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering in the "Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho" University (Venezuela), and the Acantelys Research Group. His Scientist Interests include Applications of Computer Science, Artificial intelligence, Computer education / instructional technology, IT Management, Ad hoc & Sensor networks, Wireless networks and other related Computer Network Technologies.

Thanks you for your help, thank you for allowing me to finish my studies, and above all, thank you for allowing me to reach my dream, and continue to train young Latin American researchers of low income.

Thanks!
