PGE Bill Due

A couple months ago, my boyfriend past away from a sudden heart attack. He was the provider since I cannot work due to health issues. All money he made was used for rent and utilities. And I was receiving food stamps which provided us with food for the home. Since his passing, I have had to move from our apartment we were in for 14 years since I had no way of continuing to pay the rent etc. All money that was in the bank paid a partial rent so I had time to pack and move. The rest was used for death related expenses, including creamation. All bills were paid but the final PGE bill for $151.39. I tried to find an agency to help me pay that off, but I was told that the only way to be assisted was I had to have a 24 hr shut off notice. That was not the case for me. I called PGE and told them of my situation, and the only thing they said they could do was break the amount due over 3 months to pay it off. I explained again I don't have 50.00 a month to pay them right now, and they told me it will have to be paid or go to collections. I don't want this to go against me and I am seeking assistance from anyone to help. I would be grateful for any and all assistance. Thank you so much! Lisa
