Campaign Story
Dear Supporters
Many thanks for your sponsorship. I completed the course (see picture above) in just under 5 hours with my co Spartan Laura. No injuries this time (aside from a painful toe when I slipped in a pool after the race). It was great fun and we got thoroughly filthy and wet. Only had to do 30 burpees for obstacles requiring swinging from hoops, rotating grips and staggered bars - have to work on those. Managed for a second race to hit a target with a spear. Aroo!
Anyway please enjoy the pictures above. Laura and I are now planning to do a Beast course next year (50% more unpleasantness than the Super race) and will start training seriously for that in the new year.
The pain, such as it was, was worth is to raise a few hundred dollars to a great cause.
