Peter’s Fundraising Project: Support Cancer Research!

Hello, I am Peter and I want to raise awareness for cancer and promote the importance non-profit research organizations, in particular the Association for International Cancer Research (AICR) in fighting what is now the leading cause of death in the developed world. So I am excited to tell you that I will run in the 2012 Barcelona Marathon to show my support for researching cancer! If you agree with this cause and believe that people around the world must be allowed to get a chance to live free of fear of cancer, your donations would be humbly appreciated!

AICR, an independent organization, funds research that focuses on causes and prevention of cancer. The organization is quite unique in a sense that AICR funds cancer research around world, with particular interest in newly qualified young scientists whom they help establish themselves to get an opportunity to contribute to cancer research in new, potentially revolutionary ways.

Your donations will be used to directly fund researchers around the world through AICR as well as raise awareness to cancer and promote AICR and the work they are doing trying to help people suffering from cancer and those who might suffer from it in a later stage of their life. In appreciation of your contributions, I am committed to complete the 42 km long Barcelona Marathon in March 2013 and advocate the importance of cancer research.
