I present to you Peter Lang, candidate for Chilliwack School District 33 Trustee. Peter is a father, Youth advocate, Métis and is your choice for the City of Chilliwack and your child’s future. Peter Lang has proven to be a strong advocate for Children’s Mental Health, Aboriginal Services and is a strong leader. Peter’s dedication to the welfare of children has put him in from of news cameras, on the radio, and speaking to politicians both provincially and federally with one goal in mind; to make our province a safer place for our children to grow and develop.

Peter Lang has taken the fight to all levels to ensure change was made for children in British Columbia. Peter Lang has been interviewed by Global News, CTV, CBC, the Progress, Vancouver Sun, and the Globe and Mail. Peter Lang has appeared in front of the Provincial Select Standing Committee on Children and Youth and has spoken to Government Departments and Indigenous groups, including the Metis Nation of BC.

Peter Lang is ready to speak up on behalf of citizens in the Chilliwack School District, including students and staff. Peter Lang has a balanced approach considering traditional teaching methods with consideration to the latest world trends and technology.

Peter has worked for the Federal Government since 2001 and is skilled at policy and planning. Peter experience includes dealing with complex situations in some of the harshest environments. It also demonstrates his dedication to ensuring people are given a chance, and the opportunity to improve their lives. Peter Lang has shown he can manage a budget and squeeze every last resource out of funding and has excellent skills at securing funding for important projects over the years.

Peter Lang is ready for a new challenge and opportunity to give back to his community, further improve child development and ensure that the school board does not become a political vortex of controversy and personal agendas. Peter Lang wants the best for our youth, the best for the Teachers, and the best for the Parents.
