My name is Gavin Ure. I am here to ask only one thing, please help me keep my best friend with me while I immigrate to another continent.

I started this GoFundMe because as circumstances are I am immigrating to the United Kingdom. I currently live in South Africa, whilst living here I have had many friends but always one was there whenever I came home. Her name is Pikachu, yes like the pokemon.

Pikachu is about 6 years old, Shes a Fox Terrier mixed with a Jack Russel. I've had Pikachu since she was born and watch her grow up ever since. I became very attached to her and vice versa. She is always by my side, my little shadow. She's very timid when I'm not around and the most gentle fluff I have ever loved. She is also very sassy and does not like sharing me with others.

The issue I am having is the cost of importing an animal across the continent. Roughly it will cost me R20 000 for me to get her over to the United Kingdom to most this might not seem a lot but it is quite the fee and I am afraid I will not be able to save enough before the time I have to leave which is on the 29 Feb 2019.

Pikachu means the world to me as did her mother who sadly passed away early this year in April due to old age. I cannot fathom leaving her behind, I can't stand imagining her pinning for me and wondering why I left.
