Pet zoo / rescue Shiller

We are a small pet zoo and farm animal rescue in Kibbutz Shiller, Israel. Our work is done on an entirely voluntary basis, with a small allowance for feed and vet care from the kibbutz. We keep a small part of our agricultural history alive and make sure our children and the children in our daycares grow up familiar with farm animals and pets. In addition to that, we rescue animals wherever possible. We take in unwanted small pets, farm animals in need and street kittens. We currently have chickens, ducks and other fowl, rabbits and guinea pigs, cats, donkeys, goats and a horse. Sometimes, our vet and other care bills exceed the budget the kibbutz allow us, and that is when we turn to the kibbutz members and other people for donations, so we can continue saving animals and educating children 💚
