Peruvian Hearts Promise

The Global Volunteer Network (GVN) is a non-Government organization that places people in a wide range of opportunities such as teaching or environmental work in a number of countries.  I will be working with this organization in Peru, South America and hiking 26 miles on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu beginning August 3.  After completion of the trek we will be spending time on different service projects within the Orphanage. 

The Purposeful Life

The goal of volunteering in Peru is to offer underprivileged children a future. The hope is to provide these young girls with the basic necessities of life - love, food, clothing and shelter - and also provide them with an education, so they can advance towards the same opportunities as their peers around the world. 

In order to prevail in this opportunity, I would like to not only volunteer my time in Peru but provide funds to support the Peruvian Promise Program.   I am working hard to raise the funds needed to meet these children and hopefully change their lives in a positive way.  Undoubtedly, they will provide me with an equally rewarding experience.  If you are able to support the program financially or in any other way, it is greatly appreciated.
