I am traveling to Peru to volunteer at a medical Clinic where I will be able to provide both primary and emergency care to low-income families. Clinics receive approximately 180 patients per day, 10 to 20 of which are emergencies. I will be working alongside approximately 12-15 doctors and 5-7 nurses. staff numbers are currently lower due to medical strikes happening Guatemala. resources and supplies are limited so I will be needing to take and transport my own supplies.
