Peru Jungle Conservation Volunteer

My name is John Kociara. I am a graduate of Oakland University. I graduated with a Bachelors in Environmental Science last December. Having been unable to find a career-related position yet,  I am raising funds to cover the expenses for me to go to Peru and volunteer with GVN to do Wildlife conservation work at the Manu National Park or the Tambopata Jungle in the Sacred Valley of Peru (depending on placement).

The volunteer period is 6 weeks and I need funding for the Base volunteer package, yellow fever immunization (since I'll be working in the jungle), travel insurance,airfare, and gear.
I have saved up money for my own personal spending so I am not raising money for that, as I think that would be selfish of me to do so. 

I am hoping this trip will allow me to do something worthwhile work helping maintain/recover some of the Earth's natural resources, as well as providing me the opportunity to get relevant practical experience in a field I hope to start a career in.
