Hi! I'm Rinchen Lama and I'm based in Sydney, Australia. I've been studying here for almost 3 years now and I have learnt so more than I ever would have if I still had lived in Nepal.

Initially, I was severely depressed living a monotonous life after arriving in Sydney. I was working & studying on repeat and was in a point of my life where I had accepted that my dreams wouldn't come true.

Fighting Depression

The biggest turn of my life was created by Personal Development books like How To Win Friends & Influence People, and many more. The books helped me learn so many things and I realized that Happiness can only be found inside.

Since then, I have read more than 20 Personal Development books because of my deep interest on learning more. I have been able to experience various perspectives and I have fought my depression and I was able to win after receiving help.

I want to inspire people and help change their lives as well through Personal Development Books. There are very few Personal Development books in Nepal in the market. I want to introduce life changing books that will help people take action towards a better future.

Why I started the campaign:

More than 1,200 people resorted to suicide during the government's 74 day lock down in Nepal. The numbers really hit me because I could have easily been in the statistic as I had been struggling with depression for a long time period as well.
Books helped me overcome my ill thoughts and I want to share the books so that other people can overcome their demons too.
