Performing Arts for Development

Global Oak Media Solutions was started in 2012 to offer a wide range of Film and TV services, and is committed to the development of Africa’s film industry. Since then, the Company has helped many young people realize their dreams and potential in music, drama and film production. Global Oak has offered free production services to upcoming artists, youth and community groups, and disadvantaged teens in an effort to help nurture talent while improving the livelihood of community. This as well as providing employment opportunities to the same target group.

Whereas Global Oak is a profit making organization with many paying clients, we do and shall continue to provide opportunities and services for free or minimal charges to the vulnerable groups where appropriate.

Quite often a lot of good work being done in the communities goes unreported and recognized. Granted, the cost of running TV commercials is prohibitive and often just doesn’t feel right to advertise the good one has done.

However when these projects remain obscure it also means that the individuals and organizations carrying out the good work are limited in their ability to attain reasonable levels of resource mobilization to replicate the good works to affect more lives.

Global Oak is reaching out to all entities involved in community development at whatever level to support us in empowering communities to take advantage of the earnings potential of the Film and Music industries, among other Performing Arts.

Global Oak Media Solutions uses the power of film and music to give community projects visibility and a voice.

The Organizations runs many projects including talent search to bring out the capabilities of youth and community, and provide them a platform for visibility and income generation.

The funding sought through this platform will go towards establishment of a sustainable talent search programme, community and youth involvement in content development, and establishment of a hands on performing arts school.
