Percy the Perceverer

This is Percy when he came to me straight off of the streets, very determined to recover from a life of drugs. Percy is 27 years old, his family have given up on him and he has nowhere to go. Percy has been with me for 4 months now and he is doing really well, he has put his all into recovery and takes part in all the lectures and aftercare programs with enthusiasm. Percy is very determined to succeed. He has a beautiful singing voice but never been given the opportunity to do anything about it. He has been given a second chance at his life and my team and I are doing everything we can to make sure that Percy succeeds. I am only able to help Percy at no cost for a maximum of three months. Percy needs at least another three months in recovery. I therefore appeal to you out there to help Percy by funding at least one month of his recovery. Please bear in mind that the mentality and behavior of drug addicts and alcoholics is wholly irrational until you understand that they are completely powerless over their addiction and unless they have structured help, they have no hope and that every soul is whole, no matter how wounded the mind is.
