#CHANGE MAKERS #LEADERS
To start of with, Reunion Community is a voluntary movement that aims at saving the environment by teaching people about restoring their immediate surroundings.
We would like to round up campaigns on a mission to support, protect, and nurture the environment within an identified place known as Creek-bed in Long Mannatlhoko Ward, Serowe (A stretch of homes along Metsimasweu River). Our efforts would include donating trees to community residents to plant within thier homes and in front areas. We also aim to fill out left spaces with environmental friendly & creative gardens whilst marking out & protecting indigenous Vegetation in the area as a way of saving the little we have from way back.
The sum of funds on the project, will be used to acquire the said trees, maintain the trees all year round and gardens in the area. Additionally, we will finance environmental impact assessment and archeological studies in the area.
We would also love to have merchandise for our volunteer educators (Reunion Member Service Representatives) & the public, finance their trips all around while mobilizing support and educating community residents. Most importantly, we would need materials & or stationeries for the project and other miscellaneous items that would come along the way while committing to our efforts of improving people’s neighborhood experiences. Lastly, there is an undeveloped playground for school kids that we would like to nice turn around for their safety and enjoyment.
We thank you in advance for your assistance in these idea. Should you have any inquiries about Reunion mission please reach out to Larona Seditse as the concept Leader of Reunion Community project, transforming the lives of River Residents, (Connecting the great river peninsula).
