People with disabilities desperately need your help

Crossroads Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps people with developmental disabilities live healthy, "normal", productive lives in the community. In 1996, we began helping folks move out of state hospitals and into homes in upscale residential neighborhoods. Many of our clients do not have any family involvement. Their disabilities include autism, cerebral palsy, and downs syndrome. We provide personal care, recreational and educational opportunities, transportation, vocational training and paid employment. 

We are funded 100% by the State of California. In recent years, State budget cuts have made it more and more difficult to stay afloat, and at this time we are considering closing our doors due to lack of funding. If we are forced to do so, our clients would be placed back in the institutional settings.
