WHAT IS PEOPLE TO PEOPLE: The People to People Student Ambassador Program is an international travel program opportunity for middle and highschool students. The program was initiated in 1956 by President Eisenhower as a cultural exchange program. The people to people program is a great opportunity for a select group of students to travel abroad and experience learning in an exciting way.  During the 2-3 weeks of travel, students actively learn and embrace the culture of the countries traveled to. There is also academic highschool and college credits that can be earned during the trip. This will also look great on my resume and my college application. WHY I NEED HELP: I was chosen for the opportunity to participate this summer for a trip to England, Ireland, and Wales. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would love to be a part of, along side my peers who are also passionate about learning and embracing all cultures. Raising the tuition and travel fees are the only obstacles. We have the opportunity to apply for schoalrships and a drawing to receive $500 towards tuition. I have applied to both. I will be so grateful for any help that I can get to help reach my goal to be apart of this memorable experience. X X X
