United Paralegals of America is a very unique company. We offer help and assistance when people need it the most. Most of our clients are very low to middle income and have difficulty finding legal assistance that they can afford. Most of these people make too much money to qualify for state assistance, but not enough money to go hire a law firm. Normally, the biggest losers in these situations are the children who are involved. It is our goal to help everyone that we can, regardless of their financial situation. For many of these clients, they just need help filling out simple paperwork and understanding how to file the documents in court. However, in other situations, especially when children are involved, these individuals need assistance that only an attorney can provide. We have set up a network of local attorneys who give  highly reduced rates for those clients, and this is where we need your help. Even though we set up payment plans for these clients, starting as low as $20 every two weeks, the attorneys and court costs still need to be paid up front. Currently, we are turning away people every week  in need of our assistance, because many of these payment plans take from 6 months to 24 months for us to recoup our costs. We have helped over 150 families in the last 18 months. These people have been very grateful. We have less than a 1% default rate on their payment plans. That is amazing, considering that our ONLY criteria is that they have a job. No credit checks or anything. In order to continue our efforts, we are asking for your help.
