Campaign Story
On the early mornings of Wednesday, 22 July 2020, Pieter woke up to the sound of the door of his home being forced open. Pieter was shot during the process of this burglary and rushed to the hospital.
The doctor mentioned that Pieter is an extremely lucky guy, and should the bullet have went 5mm in a different direction, he would not be with us today.
Due to financial constrains, he had to cancel his medical aid, however taking him to a State hospital wasn't an option, as septicemia would most likely set in before he was attended to.
Apart from having to face the emotional stress of the incident that took place, one has also have to deal with the stress of the Medical bill that you need to pay. There for, the reason for this funding project.
Pieter is a person that is always willing to help others, he is an amazing friend and has supported his family through the years. However, he is now the person that requires help.
Please assist us in our project and donate if you can. No matter how small, it would definitely help lower the burden of this enormous medical bill. We are extremely grateful to each and everyone. Thank you for your support.

Recovery Going well
Update posted by Pieter Paul Knox at 08:03 amGood day, All!Pieter's recovery is going very well. Although the arm needs to be kept still and movement should be limited, the wounds are healing very well. In the one picture it is very clear that Pieter is a very lucky guy, with the bullet entering so close to his. . . . .
THANK YOU!
Update posted by Pieter Paul Knox at 05:33 amWe are absolutely speechless with the support we have received on Day 1. Thank you, thank you, thank you! When friends, family and people that you don't even donate open their hearts to you, it gives you so much hope and allows for the recovery process to be a little
