My name is Pankaj Uprety and I am a yoga teacher and practitioner based out of Kalimpong, West Bengal. My journey with Yoga started quite early. I come from a family of Yoga practitioners and thus, the essence of Yoga has been ingrained in my life since my childhood. I was naturally inclined towards teaching Yoga as I grew up and after practicing extensively around the country, I returned to my hometown, Kalimpong.

Initially, we started a centre at our home in a small room which could accommodate 15-18 people comfortably. As the class strength grew, we felt a need to expand the space. So in 2019, we broke down 6 rooms of our home to make the existing yoga hall.

However, now there is a need to make the yoga experience more holistic. We wish to move beyond concrete and into nature and for this, we wish to create a Yoga Peeth right here in Kalimpong. The Yoga Peeth will be a rejuvenating, restorative centre aiming towards a complete yogic experience, healing and enhanced self - discovery.
