Hi! My name is Kaye and I am raising funds for my best friend's (Bryan) long lost Mother's funeral expenses. I care deeply about them and I couldn't help them enough on my own and thought to start a Go Fund Me page to help them out. Please read through below and see their story. May God Bless you in every endeavors you may have.
Bryan: This is our Mama Imelda, she was 55 years old. My half brothers and sisters and our mom lives beside the public railroad in Laguna. A nearby province in Metro Manila. She has 4 kids with my Stepfather who was a security guard but was a tragically killed last 2013. My mom worked as a garlic peeler to support my siblings but it was never enough to sustain a family of 5.
Bryan: For the very 1st time in 28 years we finally saw her , just in time for Mother's day, our very first celebration with her after so long. But she was already diagnosed of stage 3 Throat cancer back in February 2018. We didn't know she was terribly ill and battling cancer with my siblings. They were not able to give our mom the proper treatment such as chemo and radiation because they are also financially challenged and cannot afford these kind of treatments.
Bryan: She continued to fight cancer knowing that she will be with us more often and looking forward for her healing and enjoy her life with all of us. As one family. She was strong, very strong. I admired her so much.
Our Last Days with Her will surely be remembered forever.
Bryan: This past Sunday 7/15/2018 , her body couldn't take the pain anymore. We rushed her to different hospitals to get her admitted and possibly lessen the pain she was feeling. But all the 10+ hospitals we went to, rejected us. Because the type of cancer she had was highly contagious and they do not want to risk it for the sake of my mother.
But we finally found a private hospital in the city who would allow her to be treated inside their facility but her body gave up and she was already gone before we arrive the only hospital willing to accept her. She didn't make it. It was devastating and disheartening.
Bryan: Now that she is gone, All I want to do is to pay her funeral expenses but I can't do it on my own. I humbly ask for your help to pay for the funeral expenses and somehow help my siblings with their lives without our mom.
