PCMR, help me upgrade my GPU and CPU

If you'd like to help a fellow PC player and even have a dollar to spare, keep reading, if not, sorry for bothering you!
I'm a 20 year old college student from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Right now, I've been playing on the same rig since 2010. I3 540 3.07 GHZ, 4GB Ram, Windows 7 64-Bit and a measly AMD Radeon HD 5670. I've been a very passionate gamer ever since I was little, but due to games always evolving, I've never been able to keep up since I can't really save money since I have no income.
I guess, all I'm asking if you would like to make my experience better, help me be able to play my latest favourite games and help me at least upgrade my GPU.
Even if we raise 60$, which are a lot of money in my country, that would make my whole fucking year, forreal. The perfect scenario is I upgrade both my CPU and GPU, but, I would appreciate even the smallest upgrade because it would help me a lot.
Any suggestions for upgrades would be kindly appreciated.
