Paying-off education loan debt

I hope everyone is well during this pandemic.

My name is Harshil Desai and I am from India. I am currently living in Germany. I came here in April 2019 for my master's degree in Renewable Energy so that I could contribute towards a change for our better future. I come from a humble background.

Germany is a country where there are no tuition fees and, getting an education loan for living expenses and a blocked account (mandatory in Germany for ex-pats) is difficult from normal banks. So, I had to take a loan of 15600 Euros at nearly 13% interest from a private bank. My dad has been paying the interest amount for the past 3 years but the situation has been bad since the pandemic hit. My mom and dad both lost their jobs during the pandemic. They are already paying for the mortgage on our home back in India. I do not want them to struggle because of me anymore.

Everything was going according to the plan until the pandemic hit and my graduation has been delayed by 1.5 years. The lack of part-time job opportunities has been like salt on the wound. I feel so helpless because I have no other means to help them during this time.

Any kind of help would be appreciated. This would really help make things better for me and my family. I wouldn't have taken this step ever unless it was absolutely necessary. I hope you can help me out.
