Pay it forward. Fundraiser for Masters degree

Dear Friend,

Hello. I hope you are doing well. and I thank you for clicking this link. My name Is Rana, I live in Cairo and I need help. I want to complete my master's degree in Material Engineering. I have just 8 weeks to raise the rest of the money I need to complete my tuition fees. I have been admitted to a program in Sweden to complete the degree in Material Engineering and I don't have all the required money.

Why material Engineering? - Because it helps with everything. it helps in recycling materials like plastics that are not easily disposable and hence save mother nature, It helps in developing materials that can be used in cars' bodies and help save lives.

It has been three years since I first applied for master’s degree. Most of the time I get accepted into the university but no scholarship. As the time passed I thought I would give up or change my mind in the whole process. It isn’t easy being a mechanical engineer who wants to be involved with the technical stuff, who is willing to design and develop. This isn’t valued in my Arabic society for I am a girl. However, those struggles gave me strength. Those past three years I worked as a mechanical engineer, as a full-time web designer and a full-time graphic designer but I couldn't get the required amount of money.

It's not easy to ask for help. And it's not easy to donate to a random girl who lives far far away from you. but I don't Think that I can make it without help. So please think that your generosity will be a part of my new future. And please be sure That I will Pay it forward whenever I can. So your donation will not help only me to get to achieve my dreams but it will continue to help other people through me.
