Pay It 4ward - 2014 - 40%
For my Birthday month, I would like to Pay It 4ward to two organizations that have helped me greatly over the past few years. 40% of all money raised will be donated to each of these organizations.
From June 15 - July 15, I would like to challenge my friends and extended networks to help me raise $1000 for these organizations.
Students of Stonewall - Just Us @ Oasis Center
The Students of Stonewall is a group of high school students and college mentors who are committed to transforming Nashville into an open and affirming community for all citizens. This leadership program is named after the 1969 New York Stonewall riots that sparked the gay rights movement. These students engage in various methods of nonviolent activism.
TN Equality Project
TEP is a statewide organization dedicated to promote and sustain the equality of GLBT persons in TN through the establishment of fair and equitable laws protecting these rights and the elimination of laws that would seek to counter this effort. TEP was founded on June 15, 2004.
