Pawtastic Dog Daycare, Boarding and Grooming Facility

We are two animal lovers that love to spend as much of our time as we can surrounded by our animals and others, while we both come from extremely different backgrounds we have both found a common love and passion. Dogs. Small Dogs. Medium Dogs. Big Dogs. All sorts of sizes and all sorts of breeds!

This campaign is important to us mostly due to the fact that these funds are to help us start our own Dog Daycare and Boarding Facility to continue doing what we do best! With our experience we have gained in working in this type of environment already, it's clear that we aren't ready to stop doing what we love just yet!

We plan on fostering dogs, training them and getting them ready to go into loving families as well. No dog should be without a family and no family should be without a dog!

With YOUR help, the funds raised will go to starting everything from scratch. From the building we will be leasing to the computer we use to check your dog(s) in and out of our facility!

What We Need & What You Get
We are looking for around $50,000. These funds will be spent on permits and the following items:

Food and Water Bowls/Buckets
Kennels
Android Tablets (This is so the owners can actually call and video chat with their Dog(s) on Skype, Tango or some other Cross-Platform Video Chat Application. Don't worry, Skype can be set up to accept calls from any specified contacts. No Creepers peeping at your dog! ;)
Washer & Dryer (For Dog blankets and beds)
Grooming Supplies (Bathing system, Table, etc...)
DVR Security System along with IP Camera's to stream the play rooms in our facility for the customers so they can watch their dog(s) play and have fun!
Rent/Utilities
Permits
Basic Supplies, such as dish detergent and hospital grade sanitizer to keep your pet in the cleanest environment possible!

We believe that QUALITY and SAFETY is the most important thing here and we are unwilling to compromise our stance on that. 

The Impact
We have both had our experience in several places like this in the greater Charleston Area and it always boils down to one thing - Profits override Safety.

We believe whole-heartedly that our project is valuable and can lead a way to better competition in this industry. So many people board and bring their dog(s) to daycare with that horrid thought in the back of their mind "What if my dog is being neglected, abused or not fed?". We have felt that way and so have our friends when using unfamiliar services like this.

These facilities should all have live-cam feed as a STANDARD. It is cheap to set up and maintain. But why not take it a step further and introduce Live Video Chat with your loved one while you're on vacation or out of town on business? If you are in the greater Charleston Area, you will be able to soon.
