The Paul Schofield Memorial Fund

It’s been four months since we lost our dear friend Paul Schofield (40), a loving husband to Alma and doting father to Jimmy (2). The family received tremendous support at the time to help with the immediate challenges and huge costs involved to achieve some sort of “new-life” stability following the tragic events of one fateful evening in Dubai.

Alma and James are currently in the UK being supported with love and care from Pauls’ family, while they all work tirelessly to help make this a permanent situation, subject to UK authority approvals.

The, “One Punch Can Kill” (OPCK) message certainly hits home when a loved one becomes a victim of a senseless attack. An individual has been arrested and charged with the assault leading to death of Paul and the case will be heard in the Criminal Court of Dubai in the coming weeks.

Fund raising efforts continue with social and corporate events taking place in both the UK and Dubai, these will continue to run on an annual basis to help give Jimmy the life and education Paul and his family want for him. A huge “thank you” to everybody who has already done so much, we would like to encourage everyone who knew Paul, and those who didn’t, but heard what an amazing man he was to donate as much as they can spare. Any amount, no matter how small will help make a huge difference for years to come, thank you very much.
