Paul’s Marathon

Hi, I'm Paul and I am running the inaugural Birmingham International Marathon, to be staged on Sunday 15 October 2017. The course will start at Alexander Stadium, the home of British Athletics and will take in a number of the city’s most iconic landmarks before finishing in the city centre.

I am taking part in this event to help raise funds for a very close friend of mine, whose partner has been suffering from multiple bony tumours in her skull, for which she is undergoing radiation treatment. The long term prognosis is positive, although due to the nature of the condition treatment is not currently available on the NHS and is having to be privately funded.

The costs run into tens of thousands of pounds, with her obviously being unable to work as a result of her condition. I am asking for your kind sponsorship to raise as much money as I can towards this cause.
