Campaign Story
As you know, Brett recently had a successful double bypass surgery. Everything went really well and he is now on the road to recovery. Unfortunately for him, he is now going to have to face some serious lifestyle changes such as:
-No more dipping pizza in Ranch dressing
-No more peanut butter and syrup on waffles
-More burpee/plank challenges with his younger sister
-More walks and runs with the kids and Barley
And let's not forget about his healing time!
I know Brett has made such an impact on so many people throughout his life, and so many of you want to return the favor. In lieu of flowers, we set up this page as a place for you to give back to a man who has given so much of himself over the years and help him find his way to that new and improved healthy lifestyle.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. I know I can speak for Brett when I say it is truly appreciated.

Continuing on the path!
Update posted by Trish Gallagher at 08:17 pmBrett has been working hard to build his health back up and get his body back in working order. He has been going to therapy where they work on his lung capacity and also monitor his heart rate. While it's frustrating for him not to be 100%, he knows he's. . . . .
Sleep at last!
Update posted by Trish Gallagher at 09:15 pmAfter nearly a week of dealing with hiccups and discomfort, Brett finally received treatment (after an early morning trip to the ER) for his hiccups (which he's had since he came out of recovery). He has finally been able to get some decent sleep - which also means his nurses
Back Home!
Update posted by Trish Gallagher at 04:17 pmBrett was released Sunday afternoon and is trying to rest at home. His white blood cell count is quite low and he's had the hiccups since he came out of surgery more or less so rest is a relative word. Luckily he has some pretty amazing nurses - our parents
Out of ICU
Update posted by Trish Gallagher at 08:26 pmBrett was moved out of ICU on Thursday, December 10. He walked to his new room which completely wiped him out (understandably so!) but was a huge step in the healing process!
