Welcome,
My name is Krzysztof (Christopher) and I would like to give you a brief overview of my story :)
7 years ago I met, in that time, my future wife. As we were from two totally different countries (me Poland, she Colombia) it was very difficult to keep in contact (time difference) and especially to trust.
We decided to make everything what is possible to live together in Poland. It cost a lot of effort and paper work (Colombians needed visa to Poland in that time). Now every year we need to extend resident permit and work permit (yes you need that too, separately).

As we could live together in small (post-communist) apartment, we slowly could make our life more stable and move on. As these kind of apartments are struggling from noise (you can literally listen snoring neighbors at night), overpopulation, bad location (noisy, service oriented part of the city)... we started to talk about moving out. The question was to where...
we checked many new apartments, some houses but at the end a new idea appeared in our minds: our own dream house :)

We decided again to push forward and do everything what is possible to make our dream come true.
After 3 years of looking for good quality and worthy ground, finally we found one. Despite of discount we got from very kind owner, we had to have to spend all our savings. Happy but "broke" we achieved first step on our way to catch our dream.

As we got the ground, we started to think about house itself, how it should looks, what it should has and so on. For almost 2 years of checking projects, reading about technologies, documentations and requirements, we decided to get our own project of the house.
Both of us had in minds our hardworking parents and memories, how much effort is needed to care for their houses, especially after WWII.
It helped us to pick the direction, a passive eco-friendly house. To secure what our parents struggle the most.

As we live in state with a high air pollution, especially during winter (a lot of old houses, burning coal in old stoves), we picked the technology of the house itself (walls U=0.1) to reduce heat loss as much as possible, the windows - high energy-efficient (unfortunately passive windows are 2,5x more expensive), high energy-efficient entry door and garage gate, solar panels, accumulative fireplace and electric IR heating system. At the end was fence and entry gate to ensure safety and privacy.

Meanwhile we started to prepare all documentation and project needed for permission to build. Unfortunately in Poland it takes a loot of effort and paperwork. Currently 7 months of running for permissions, documents, adjusting project and maps. As our ground lack of water and savage connection we had to have to make additional documentation to kindly request adding us to the future budget for new connections.
Last month (July) we got answer and plans for savage connection for august 2018! Thanks to EU founds our village governance could collect enough money to build savage treatment for entire village a once.
To ensure water for the house, as there are no plans yet, we decided to build a well. Three weeks ago crew drill the hole and put pipes with filters. Bad luck happened and due to rocky layer, the filters got break and muddy water sink to the well making it unusable. Fortunately the same crew promised to deliver fully functional well and scheduled new drill in 1 weeks.
2 weeks ago we got temporary fence and gate, a preparation for construction.
We hope our house project and permission to build will be ready at the end of September.

Now a bit more about numbers.
Estimated cost of raw house with roof: 90 000E
Windows/entry door/garage gate: 15 500E
Fence/entry gate: to be estimated
Project of the house: 2 000E
Well: 1 250E
Solar panels: 14 500E
Cabling/heating installation: 6 500E
Water and savage connection: to be estimated
Power connection: 550E
Other: 200E

Considering above numbers and our savings we realized we will need support to get founds. We investigated all possible donations available in our state but unfortunately, for us, there are any for new built houses, all are related to decrease air pollution of old houses, which is also good. For instance the neighbor state allowed up to 90% donation for solar panels. This fact made us a bit sad as we would like to build really green and eco-friendly house with zero emission.

Therefore we would like to kindly ask You for support in founding our dream family house.
Every good will/ positive thoughts/donation will be greatly appreciated :)

Greetings!
