Hospice Project

Passageways provides housing for homeless people who are in need of hospice services.  Our project will provide a home setting so this unserved population can receive the services they need.  It is inhumane for a person to die alone or under a bridge.  Passageways will keep that from happening. 

Independent Living for Veterans

In addition, Passageways will provide housing for homeless veterans.  According to our research, there are no programs like Passageways in Sedgwick County.  Can you imagine coming home from serving your country only to not be able to navigate through the red tape to get the services you need.  Why should we expect our veterans to continue the fight on their home turf? 

Training and Expansion

By combining the two entities, we are able to also provide on the job training for care-givers and food preperation.  We currently will be able to immediately serve up to 15 people in two houses.  Our goal is to expand quickly and also provide medical training; food service training and housekeeping; as well as financial and spiritual growth and training, for our homeless veterans.
